Keith is a rural market town on the Castle and Whisky Trails, and well placed for touring Aberdeenshire and Moray. Follow the Whisky Trail by rail from Keith to Dufftown. Many golf courses, pony trekking, horse riding and good walks can be found in the area, or visit the Deans Shortbread Centre at Huntly.
Covering over 1,750 square miles, the Cairngorms National Park is the jewel in the crown of the Scottish Highlands. It has four of Scotland's five highest mountains, the head waters of two of Scotland's finest salmon rivers and three of the five Scottish ski centres.
We are about an hours' drive from both the Lecht ski centre and Aviemore for the holiday makers who like to ski.
Upper Garralburn in set in its own 50 acres with extensive hill and woodland walks in the immediate vicinity. Aberdeen, Inverness and Aviemore are all 50 miles. An ideal centre for visiting whisky distilleries, castles and golf courses and exploring the beautiful Moray Firth coast with its dolphins.
